  The tour package includes 7 breakfasts, 1 lunch, and 3 dinners. For other meals, you'll have flexibility to choose from various eating options, and your Chief Experience Officer (CEO) can recommend local restaurants.

  This tour focuses on Sri Lanka's incredible cultural and natural highlights. You will explore a spice plantation, visit the historic Temple of the Tooth, enjoy a tea tasting, participate in a cooking demonstration of local dishes, go on a wildlife safari in Udawalawe National Park to spot elephants, and take a tour of Galle Fort and city. You'll also experience an enriching 'G for Good Moment' with lunch at the Sthree Craft Shop and Café and a stay at the AMBA estate.

• What are the group size and age requirements for this tour?

  The tour operates with a small group size, ranging from a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 15 participants. The minimum age to join is 12 years old, with a maximum age of 100 years.

• Who will be leading the tour and what is their role?

  All group trips are accompanied by a Chief Experience Officer (CEO). Their role is to facilitate your travels, provide information on the places visited, offer suggestions for activities and local eateries, and introduce you to local culture. While not traditional guides, they have broad knowledge of the countries.

• What is the physical rating for this tour?

  This tour has a physical rating of 2. Travelers should be able to walk without aid, climb 3-4 flights of stairs, step on and off small boats, and carry their own luggage at a minimum.

• Are there any specific cultural dress codes or restrictions I should be aware of?

  Yes, conservative dress is required in Sri Lanka, especially when visiting religious sites and local communities. Shoulders and knees should be covered at all times. Displaying body art or wearing clothing with an image of the Buddha is illegal and should be avoided or kept covered.

  Road travel in Sri Lanka can differ significantly from Western countries. Many roads are single lane, driving rules are not always strictly followed, and some roads can be poorly maintained, especially during monsoon season (May-July). This can lead to long travel times for relatively short distances.

• Are there optional activities available?

  Yes, in Kandy, you can opt for a Kandyan Cultural Dance performance, visit the Royal Botanical Gardens, or experience an Ayurvedic Center. In the Ella area, you can choose to trek to Ella Rock or visit Ella town by tuk-tuk.

• What are the arrangements for solo travelers?

  Solo travelers are generally paired in twin or multi-share accommodation with someone of the same sex. If you prefer a single room, a 'My Own Room' option is available for an additional cost, though there are exceptions for nights 4 and 5 on this particular tour.
